FIFA 19 News: The Everton Players With The Highest Potential Ability On FIFA 19

Posted on 15/03/2019 by admin

Everton has always been a club that gives chances to young players, whether they come through the academy system or pick them up in the transfer market – playing youngsters is part of the Toffees philosophy.

Under Marco Silva, it’s no different.

The Everton first team squad has now got a great mix of experience and youth, with some exciting young players who will only get better with more playing time.

But who has the most potential out of these youngsters?

We used FIFA 19 to find out.

Jordan Pickford of Everton

Jordan Pickford is one of the best young goalkeepers in world football.

He is currently rated at 83 overall, which is very good for a keeper who is still only 24 years old.

But, according to FIFA 19, there’s still plenty of improvement still to come.

The England number one has a potential ability of 88, which would make him the best player at Everton by a distance.

If he reaches his full potential, he could be rated as highly as Hugo Lloris and Gianluigi Buffon, and higher than Alisson (87), Keylor Navas (87) and Ederson (86).

Richarlison celebrates after scoring in the match between Huddersfield Town and Everton

Since signing for Everton in August 2017, Richarlison has established a reputation as being one of the most exciting young strikers in world football.

He’s also appeared six times for the Brazil national team, scoring three times.

He’s currently rated at 80 overall on FIFA 19, which isn’t anything particularly to shout about.

However, he’s got a potential ability to 86, which would rate him as highly as Roberto Firmino, Romelu Lukaku and higher than Alexandre Lacazette (85), Edin Dzeko (85) and Karim Benzema (85).

Ademola Lookman celebrates his goal during the Emirates FA Cup Third Round match between Everton and Lincoln City at Goodison Park on January 5, 2019

The former Charlton youngster is an enormous talent.

The 20-year-old winger is currently rated at 75 overall on FIFA 19, which isn’t bad for a player of his age.

But his potential ability to 86 is definitely something to shout about.

That would put him on the same level as players like Leroy Sane, Bernardo Silva, Sadio Mane, and Thomas Muller.

Everton paid around £7 million for the Nigerian forward in June 2017, but is yet to make a first-team appearance for the club, due to work permit issues.

He’s since had very successful loan spells with Anderlecht and most recently, Galatasaray, where he’s scored nine times in 19 appearances.

The 21-year-old is currently rated at 76 overall on FIFA 19 but has a potential ability rating of 86.

This means he could potentially surpass the ability of players like Timo Werner, Hueng-min Son, and Mario Mandzukic.

Everton’s Yerry Mina

The former Barcelona central defender is a great prospect, who is arguably more known for his attacking rather than his defending.

The 23-year-old Colombian is currently rated at 78 on FIFA 19, but he has a potential ability of 85.

This would make him as good as Jerome Boateng, Vincent Kompany, and Nicolas Otamendi.

Everton captain Tom Davies goes past Bernardo Silva.

Davies is a superb midfield prospect, who remains the youngster player to ever captain the club at the age of 20 years and 60 days.

He is currently rated at 75 overall, so he’s got plenty of room for improvement.

The 20-year-old has got a potential ability of 84 on FIFA 19, which means he could reach the same level as players like Ever Banega, Ilkay Gundogan and Sami Khedira.

Lucas Digne of Everton

The French left-back has taken the Premier League by storm and has proven himself as one of the most talented players in the Everton squad.

The 24-year-old is currently rated at 81 overall, but he has a potential ability rating of 84, so he could potentially get even better.

This would make him as good as David Alaba and Alex Telles.

Roar power …Andre Gomes of Everton celebrates after scoring his team’s equaliser against Wolves.

The Portuguese playmaker has impressed the Everton faithful since his arrival from Barcelona last summer.

He’s currently rated at 80 overall, but he has a potential ability of 84.

That means he could become as good as players like Nabil Fekir and Hakim Ziyech.

Dowell is one of the most talented youngsters to have come from the Everton academy in recent seasons.

The 21-year-old midfielder is currently on loan at Championship side Sheffield United.

He is currently rated at 70 overall on FIFA 19, but he could potentially get to 83 overall.

That means Dowell could become as good as Naby Keita, Georgino Wijnaldum and Mateo Kovacic.

Gordon, who doesn’t turn 18 until February 24, is the brightest prospect at Everton right now.

He’s a hugely exciting forward player, who is currently rated at 60 on FIFA 19.

However, he could potentially get to an overall ability of 83.

This means he could become as good as Gabriel Jesus and Thomas Lemar.
